Two Days in Champagne Private Tour with Licensed English-Speaking Driver-Guide from Paris
This comprehensive 2-day tour offers a wonderful introduction to the scenic beauty and tranquility of the legendary Champagne region in northeastern France. On the first day, guests will set off in the morning with their licensed driver-guide and travel to the city of Reims. There, guests can enjoy a private tour of the Cathedral Notre Dame de Reims, an impressive example of Gothic art that once served as the venue for the coronation of French monarchs. This UNESCO-listed monument has beautiful arched windows, exquisitely carved sculptures, and two bell towers among other fascinating architectural features. Next, guests will stop by two renowned champagne houses for insights into the process and techniques involved in making the sparkling beverage. They will also visit La Porte de Mars, an ancient triumphal Roman arch believed to be the world's largest. On their second day, guests will have plenty more sightseeing to do in the region, learning more about the history and culture of the region from their driver-guide as they travel. Later, they will indulge in sampling sessions at renowned vineyards across the beautiful Montagne de Reims champagne wine region and end the tour on a high note!
