It is one of the world’s wealthiest countries, and unlike many European countries, it is not densely populated and has managed to preserve vast territories of spectacular wilderness. Visitors travel to Norway to see some of the world’s most incredibly-scenic fjords (along its Atlantic coastline), and outside of its cultured capital city of Oslo, Norway often feels like one of Europe’s last great frontiers. One can easily vacation entirely in Norway, but if your group is interested in combining Norway with its Scandinavian neighbors (Denmark and Sweden), it is easily done.
