Day 1: Arrival in Berlin
Upon arrival at Berlin airport, guests will meet the transfer representative and be escorted to the hotel. Once settled in, put on outdoor shoes and head to the meeting point for a food tour of the city and, once stomaches are full, another tour of Berlin's history! Berlin is a sprawling, thriving metropolis and there's much to discover—from World War II history and architecture! Once these tours conclude, head to the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt square for dinner and a drink.

Day 4: Arrival in Nuremberg
This morning, a transfer representative will escort guests to the railway station for the train to Nuremberg. Upon arrival, another representative will be waiting to take guests to the hotel. The evening is free for visitors to settle in and explore this beautiful city at leisure. A historic gem of Bavaria, Nuremberg offers medieval architecture and a vibrant culture. Visitors can explore the Kaiserburg Castle and attached museum, see the courthouse where Nazi leaders were tried during the Nuremberg Trials, and dine at a lively restaurant near Hauptmarkt.
Day 5
This morning, spend time soaking in the main sights and sounds of Nuremberg on a privately guided tour—a perfect introduction to this historic city. After a hearty lunch, set out to explore the hidden gems, such as the Historischer Kunstbunker, a former bomb shelter where precious artwork was stored for protection during WWII. Day 7: Arrival in Munich
This morning, a representative will meet travelers at the Nuremberg hotel and transfer them to the railway station for their train. In Munich, meet the private driver and be escorted to the hotel. Once settled in, grab the walking shoes and step out. The afternoon is free to explore Munich's many attractions at travelers' own pace. Suggestions include wandering through the historic Nymphenburg royal palace, or viewing the science and technology exhibits at the Deutsches Museum. In the evening, prepare for a delicious sampling tour of the city's food and beer.

Upon return, remember to get some dinner—try a traditional pork chop with red-cabbage dumplings!—and return to the hotel for a sound night's sleep.
Exploring the Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof
This excursion takes travelers inside two extraordinary castles, both testaments to the visions of Bavaria's "fairytale king," Ludwig II. After a short shopping break at Oberammergau, home of the Passion Play, continue to Neuschwanstein Castle. The striking white structure towers above the Bavarian countryside and was the inspiration behind Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty's Castle. Next up is Linderhof, the smallest of the three palaces built by King Ludwig II and the only one whose completion he was alive to witness. The last day in Munich is free for exploring this bustling megacity with its population of 1.5 million people. For a taste of local culture, if travelers are visiting in mid-November through December, be sure to plan for the sparkling Holiday Markets that light up Munich.
Munich Christmas Market Tour
Munich has been hosting Christmas markets for 600 years, and every year the medieval center of town is transformed into a winter wonderland. The streets are cluttered with charming stalls selling every variety of classic decoration and gift in an atmosphere happy with the scent of roasted nuts and hot spiced wine. Visitors may find themselves stopping often at the colorful shops while the guide tells them about the history of the markets, the meaning of the displays, and the Advent and Christmas rituals associated with them. While here, don't forget to try the local mulled wine.
Day 10: Departure from Munich
This morning, bid goodbye to Munich as travelers make their way to the airport with a transfer representative. Hopefully there are enough souvenir beer steins and edelweiss bells for family and friends who will be envious of this journey. Auf wiedersehen!
