DAY 1: Arrival in London
Upon arrival in London, guests will be met by a driver and transported to the hotel. As soon as they are checked in, guests can start exploring the city on the Tube with their pre-activated Oyster Card. After the long hours spent on the flight, this is the perfect day to discover the city at a leisurely pace and visit the iconic London Eye.
London Oyster Card
The Visitor Oyster Card is an electronic card that allows travelers to store credit for pay-as-you-go travel on transport for London services. The card automatically calculates the cheapest fare possible and stops deducting credit when a daily amount is reached. Guests have a £20 card that can be topped-up with additional credit at Tube stations, Oyster Ticket Stops and London Travel Information Centres. The Oyster card is pre-activated so guests can start using it as soon as they arrive in London.
London Eye Fast-Track
With fast-track tickets for the London Eye, guests can bypass part of the queue and get the tickets just 15 minutes before the experience begins. At 440-feet high, the London Eye is the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of the capital and its famous landmarks. The gradual rotation in one of the 32 high-tech glass capsules takes approximately 30 minutes and offers an ever-changing perspective of London. A trip to the top will lift us high enough to see up to 25 miles on a clear day!
DAY 2: London
There is plenty of action in store for guests on this first full day in England. Following a hearty breakfast, they will head to Victoria Coach Station for an all-day tour to Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath. After their return, a late dinner (and maybe a drink!) at a lively pub or restaurant is great way to end the day before heading back to the hotel for the night.
Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath Tour With Fish and Chip Lunch
This day-long tour takes visitors to some of the best-loved sights in England. Perched high above the Thames, Windsor Castle is the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Starting early, guests can explore the building and St. George's Chapel with few other visitors around. They will then visit the town, and take a scenic drive through Runnymede, where King John signed the Magna Carta. The tour heads to the iconic and mysterious Stonehenge in Salisbury - one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world. The next stop is Lacock in the Cotswolds, one of England's most picturesque villages, where guests will lunch at a 14th-century inn. Then it is time to explore these quaint surroundings that have provided the backdrop for movies like 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'! The final stop is at the UNESCO-listed Georgian city of Bath. After a panoramic city tour, there will still be plenty of time to shop and partake of afternoon tea in the Pump Rooms, before returning to London.
DAY 3: London
On the last full day in London, it's time to dig deeper and discover what the city is all about! After breakfast, guests will head out on a tour of London which includes afternoon tea. The evening is spent at leisure, dining at one of the many fantastic establishments in the city and exploring its vibrant neighborhoods for one last time before departing for Paris on the next day.
Magic of London Including Afternoon Tea
This is the quintessential London tour, from heritage sites and historic traditions, sans the crowds! Starting at St Paul's Cathedral, guests will have the chance to appreciate the experience in peace and tranquility, being the first tour group to be let inside. On Sundays, when viewing is restricted, guests have the opportunity to sit in on a service. With a photo stop outside the imposing Westminster Abbey, it's time to witness the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Later in the afternoon, the tour goes to the Tower of London where guests can view the Crown Jewels and the White Tower, where the Royal Armouries are housed. Afterward, a boat cruise on the River Thames lightens the mood, before a jaunt to the famous Harrods for afternoon tea. This is the authentic English tea experience, alongside homemade scones with preserves and clotted cream, plus a glass of Harrods prosecco. Afterwards, you are free to explore the famous department store and the city. (Please note that Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace is subject to availability. Lunch is not included in the tour.)
