Private Paros in a Nutshell!
'Paros in a Nutshell' is a very interesting half day tour that combines sightseeing and hiking. Starting off you will visit the old market and the port of Naoussa (a fishing village with beautiful whitewashed cubical houses). From there, a drive up to the traditional village of Lefkes to explore the narrow streets, alleys & stacked houses.
From Lefkes the hiking part of the tour starts! Hike the most well-known route of Paros, the herb-scented Byzantine Way, constructed in the Byzantine (medieval) times as part of a central road traversing the entire island, linking Parikia to old mountain capital Lefkes and Piso Livadi. It is a route of about an hour and a half into the unspoiled Parian Countryside with a couple of mild uphill parts, pleasant and accessible to all. It leads to quaint Prodromos village, where Greek coffee & sweets will nicely round-off the experience!
