Shared Tour: Aurora Hunting with Husky Tour ** Non – Refundable**
Take part in an arctic night adventure with huskies. After the husky farmer picks you up at the resort and takes you to the farm, you will be provided with thermal outfits before meeting the dogs, who will be anxious to get going because of their love of running. You will learn how to stop, turn and drive the sledge before getting underway. Driving a husky team in the dark is already an exciting experience, but with a light on your head you will drive the team further away from the glow of artificial lights in search of the aurora borealis, known as the “magic of Lapland.” There will be two people per sled unless you wish to have one to yourself. One person will be seated in the sleigh while the other person will be standing and driving in the back. You can swap positions halfway through if you wish. After enjoying your ride through the wintery forest and arriving back at the farm, you can thank the dogs for your adventure together, sip a hot drink and share some husky stories before returning to Kakslauttanen.
