Shared Tour: Capri Tour with the Blue Grotto
On this tour, guests will meet their guide early and travel to Capri, aptly named the ‘Island of the Gods’. Arriving at Naples in the south, they will board the ferry to Capri, known for its dramatic white cliffs plunging into aquamarine waters, scenic landscapes, and luxury lifestyle. Guests will enjoy a guided tour through the lively Piazzetta or town square, past artisanal stores and boutiques. They will also view the iconic Faraglioni rocks towering over the ocean in the distance. A highlight of the tour is the Blue Grotto—a sea cave with a magical blue glow which was a favorite swimming spot of Emperor Tiberius. Guests will glide into the cavern in a small rowboat to marvel at the unusually blue waters – the result of an extraordinary natural phenomenon. Afterward, they will sail back to Naples and return to Rome, where they will be dropped off at the centrally located Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri.
