Guests will begin the tour by bus to the Husafell area with stops at hot spring Deildartunguhver and Hraunfossar lava waterfalls, followed by a lunch break. Once they arrive be outfitted with crampons, raincoats, and waterproof shoe covers for their adventure through the tunnels of the Langjokull glacier. After being driven by an 8-wheeled monster truck to the entrance of the ice cave, visitors on this guided tour will learn about different types of glaciers and view magical ice formations including a built-in chapel. Once-in-a-lifetime photo ops abound during this unique experience so bring your camera!

The tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure. Passengers must contact the local sightseeing company upon arrival to reconfirm their tour.

Due to a new regulation passed by the local authorities in Reykjavik, vehicles operated by travel companies can no longer access certain parts of the city. If your hotel falls within this zone, you will be required to walk to/from your hotel to the designated pick-up/drop-off point – this should be no further than a 5 to 10 minute walk. Please call the service supplier listed above for confirmation of the pick-up/drop-off point.
