Shared Versailles Morning Tour with Audio Guide
This morning, guests will be transported from a central point in Paris to the Palace of Versailles in an air-conditioned minibus. Upon arrival, they can immediately begin the tour with their skip-the-line admission tickets. With an audioguide for detailed explanations and stories, guests will explore State Apartments and the Queen’s Bedroom, among other chambers. The Hall of Mirrors, with its 357 mirrors and elegant chandeliers, is a highlight offering insight into the grandeur of French royalty. Participants will learn how Louis XIV, the “Sun King,” expanded the palace from a hunting lodge into a center of royal life. After the tour, guests will have time to explore the 2,000-acre French-style gardens, designed by André Le Nôtre. The gardens, with their intricate layout of fountains, parterres, and groves, reflect the elegance of the palace interiors. Visitors can also explore the Grand Trianon and Petit Trianon, immersing themselves in the world of Marie Antoinette. The journey concludes with a relaxed trip back to Paris.
