Following the German Alpine Road, you will have a splendid view of the Bavarian Alps. In Berchtesgaden, you can take an optional ride in a special bus to "Eagle's Nest", a former tea house. Eagle's Nest was built by the Nazi party for Hitler's 50th birthday.

This tour is provided on a reserved basis prior to departure.

Additional Information:
Eagle's Nest usually opens by the middle of May; in the event of bad weather the tour will visit Berchtesgaden salt mine instead.

Tour guides are multi-lingual, and the tour may be conducted in other languages as well as in English. Live guide in English and German; other languages are available via headphones.
