After a convenient pickup from their hotel in Madrid, they will travel in a private vehicle to the Royal Monastery of El Escorial. This 16th-century masterpiece, built during Spain’s Golden Age, symbolizes the country’s power and influence. Participants will view the intricate design of the Royal Mausoleum and the impressive Habsburg Palace, while their guide shares fascinating insights into its 21-year construction. They will also visit the Chapter House, the grand Basilica, and the remarkable library. The journey continues to the Valley of the Fallen, a monumental site built into a granite mountain to honor the fallen of the Spanish Civil War. Guided commentary is not be available inside the Valley of the Fallen. However, the guide will provide information about the exhibition outside before you enter.
