Guests will set off on an unforgettable day of exploration, uncovering the rich history of Avila and Segovia on this full-day tour. They will meet their guide at a central location in Madrid and board a comfortable bus. The adventure begins in Avila, known for its beautifully preserved fortified walls from the 11th century. During a walking tour, participants will learn about the impressive 2,500-meter wall and its 90 towers, surrounded by stunning Romanesque churches, Gothic palaces, and the 12th-century fortified cathedral. After exploring Avila, they will stop for a leisurely break to enjoy a lavish gastronomic lunch featuring La Granja white beans and roasted suckling pig, topped off with a delightful dessert. The tour then continues to Segovia, where guests will admire the iconic Roman aqueduct, visit the elegant Segovia Cathedral, often referred to as the "Lady of the Cathedrals," and explore the spectacular Alcazar. At the end of this enriching day, guests will return to Madrid, carrying wonderful memories with them.
