On this tour see the lovely Cotswold villages of Shipton-under-Wychwood, Upper and Lower Slaughter, Stow-on-the-Wold and Broadway where buildings are all made from Cotswold stone, a honey-colored limestone. You will also see Blenheim Palace and Oxford before returning to London. Oxford is England’s oldest university and dates back to the 11th century. Blenheim Palace, situated on almost 3,000 acreas of parkland, is the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. It was built as a reward for John Churchill for his victory over the French in 1704.
