Enjoy a splendid excursion through the Tuscan countryside, past vineyards and olive groves to the renowned Tuscan towns of Siena, San Gimignano and Pisa. Upon arrival in Siena, a medieval city, you will visit Piazza del Campo. You may choose to vist the Cathedral and walk the narrow streets during your free time. You may choose to walk through the streets to discover that much of the town has remained unchanged. Next, we will enjoy a typical lunch and a guided wine tasting at a country estate.
After lunch we will travel to San Gimignano, a UNESCO world heritage site, known for its preserved Medieval layout, vineyards and saffron plantations. You may choose to walk through the city center to see the Piazza della Cisterna, Collegiata, Palazzo del Podest and the Church of Sant Agostino before we leave for Pisa. Pisa is another UNESCO world heritage site known for the Leaning Tower, Baptistery, Cathedral and Monumental Cemetery. After exploring Pisa we will return to Florence.
