Private Cooking Class at a Charming Castle and San Gimignano from Florence 9:30 AM
On this tour, guests can learn the art of making traditional Italian pasta at a castle in the celebrated food and wine region of Tuscany. Setting out from their hotel with an English-speaking driver, they will pass through the picturesque Chianti region with its rolling hills and vineyards dotted by terracotta houses. Arriving at the castle, guests will be warmly welcomed into the historic setting, and learn the traditional techniques of creating fresh pasta, guided by a skilled chef. They will also cook simple and delicious sauces, and learn easy recipes to bring back home. Italian cuisine emphasizes the joy of cooking and dining, and guests will experience this while they lunch on typical tuscan treats, cheeses, cold cuts and more, accompanied by award-winning regional wines. Afterward, they will visit San Gimignano, which offers panoramic views of the countryside from its hilltop vantage. Albeit small in size, the UNESCO-listed town is known for its well-preserved Medieval architecture, picturesque piazzas, and historical landmarks. After a short tour on their own, guests will be transported back to Florence.
