Shared Half Day Barcelona Highlights Tour
On this comprehensive tour, guests will spend the morning discovering some of Barcelona’s iconic attractions. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local expert, they will begin the tour from the Estacio del Nord bus station. The itinerary includes a drive along the Passeig de Gracia to admire beautiful buildings from the Modernism era as well as the famous Gaudi houses of Casa Batllo and La Pedrera. The exploration continues at the waterfront Olympic Village, the Olympic Port, and the beach. Along the route, guests will observe the fishermen’s quarter, the Port Vell, and the Plaza de Colon with its iconic Columbus monument, which is also the starting point of the pedestrian-friendly Las Ramblas boulevard. At Montjuic, guests will enjoy a cable car ride and take in splendid views of the city. Next, they will see the sports facilities constructed for the 1992 Olympic Games, including the Lluis Companys Stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi, and the Olympic swimming pool Picornell. On the drive back, guests can take in views of the Venetian Towers, the Montjuic fountains, and the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC). They will also see Las Arenas complex, built over the ancient Plaza de Toros. On reaching Plaza de Catalunya, the guide will lead guests along the narrow alleys of the Gothic Quarter to Plaza de Sant Jaume near the city hall, where the tour concludes.

The cable car does not operate for about 3 weeks between late January to early March. During this time, the cable car ride will be replaced with an aperitif in Montjuic Castle.
